From the word batbat which means a piece of stick (used to separate the cotton pods), Binatbatan is now a folk dance. Participants wear clothes made of abel Iloko. They simulate how the cotton pods are separated with the aid of music and graceful moves.

The street dancing was followed by a showdown in Plasa Burgos. This is Binatbatan Festival 2015. As usual, this is a crowd-drawer.
