One early morning, I roamed around Vigan to look for a good place to eat for breakfast. I actually looked for a local eatery. As I turned to Calle Bonifacio, I saw a certain corner of the road filled with crowd. I got curious, so I parked my scooter near Dudley.
Well, I already had an idea that it is a Sinanglaoan (a place where Sinanglao food is served). However, the crowd reignited my curiosity and interest to try this place. At around 7 AM, the place had enormous patrons. I also saw some familiar faces from the city hall, from my previous school, and anyone I've probably encountered somewhere in Vigan.

At around 7 AM, the sinanglaoan was crowded. The line at the ordering counter was also long. I had to wait for several minutes for my turn.
What made this sinanglaoan nostalgic for me as a Bigueño is the presence of the sinanglao-arroz caldo combo which I last tasted when I was Grade 3 (1997) at the Vigan Post Office which was near my school (Vigan Nan Chong School) then. This is the combo I have been looking for in every sinanglaoan, and I never expected I'd see it here. It's the best Vigan diet combo for sinanglao.

Dahil saturated na ang Vigan ng mga fastfood at mga fine dine restaurants, let's go back to our roots at i-explore natin ang mga kainan sa Vigan na sumasalamin sa tunay na kultura ng mga Bigueño Ito ang Boyet's Sinanglaoan located along Bonifacio Street (in front of Dudley Lara Education Center).
