VIGAN CITY, ILOCOS SUR ▬ In Ilocano, Lilong means grandfather or a very old man while Lilang is the female counterpart. In Brgy. Bulala of the heritage city of Vigan is a restaurant called Lilong and Lilang.
This restaurant is located within the premises of a locally more popular tourist destination called Hidden Garden that features tropical plants and potteries.
This restaurant has a relaxing ambiance with accommodating staff. They offer Ilocano dishes such as empanada, bagnet and longganisa. The empanada above is 40 pesos while the halo-halo is 75 pesos.
To go here, ride on a tricycle from Vigan City proper and just tell the driver to bring you to Hidden Garden, Bulala. Fare starts at 30 pesos. 50 pesos should be the maximum. Beyond that, that would be overcharging.
